Henare O’Brien

Trainer

With an Education Degree, Henare has held leadership roles in both curriculum & cultural development. After leaving teaching, he was contracted to work with a local government service to facilitate & improve outcomes. On entering the private, sector Henare developed a generative approach to learning which is now core to their leadership facilitation. Generative Learning is a way to faciliate a discovery approach. It collaboratively engages the learner, with distinctions, that challenge and extend thinking in order to expand and add to a person’s capacity to take new courses of action in their lives.

Kate Ruby Aroha

Trainer

Kate worked as a registered nurse in multiple clinical settings, before moving into nursing leadership roles, regionally and then nationally. Delivering government contracts across New Zealand, while working within a team frequently nominated for awards, and recognised nationally for their leadership and results. After completing back to back national contracts, Kate moved into leadership development in the private sector, and now, a senior leadership trainer with 17 years experience.
